ABOUT THIS RECIPE

Happy Cinco de Mayo -If you are making tacos for yourself, why not put some ingredients aside and make a lovely dog friendly treat for your pup. I cooked some plain ground beef, no seasonings and once it was cooked set some aside for the pup.

I also used grated carrot for beta carotene, Parsley for Vit A and K and good doggy breath, cucumber for hydration and low calories, a tiny bit of cheese as a TREAT every now and then is ok, but it is high in fat and calories. I added a spoon of plain Greek yoghurt as some natural probiotics, and I used a cassava gluten free tortilla as a lot of dogs are sensitive to wheat and they are high in Vit B9 for cell growth and immunity.

If your dog is lactose intolerant, skip the yogurt and cheese.

○ COOKING TIME: 30 min
○ SERVING: 8 dog tacos (or 1 if you eat the rest yourself ;))

INGREDIENTS

[1 lb] Ground Beef
[1 tbsp] Coconut Oil
[1 tsp] MIGOS DOG Supplement Powder
Cassava flour tortillas (or corn is better than wheat)
[1 cup] Shredded Carrot
[1 cup] Shredded Cucumber
[2 tbsp] Chopped Parsley
[TINY pinch] Grated Cheese (Optional)

PREPARATION

Step 1.
Cook the beef in a frying pan with the coconut oil until cooked through, set aside. Separate some for the dog and some for you. (You can add whatever sauces and spices to YOUR tacos but keep it all plain for the dog) Add the dog supplement powder to the beef for dogs.

Step 2.
Assemble tortillas, I cooked my cassava ones through each side on a hot pan. Pile ingredients on top and serve up…. Recommended somewhere that you can easily clean up haha.
