Fancy making your own dog treats at home? These healthy salmon and sweet potato ones are a nice and easy start. Salmon is full of healthy fats good for your dog’s skin, coat and joints full of omega 3’s and 6’s. Sweet potato is gentle on the stomach and a good source of fiber and beta carotene, Parsley for Vitamin K and I used oat flour as a wheat free binder as most dogs are sensitive to wheat.

○ COOKING TIME: 45 min
INGREDIENTS
- [1 lb] Fresh salmon, wild caught if possible, skin taken off kept to one side.
- [1 1/2 cups] Cooked sweet potato with skin on
- [1 cup] Fresh parsley
- [¾ cup] Oat flour
- [1 tsp] Migos Dog Supplement Powder
PREPARATION
Step 1.
Preheat oven to 350°f/180°c
Step 2.
Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender, blend until smooth. Spread on to a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. I added a brush of coconut oil to make sure it didn’t stick.
Step 3.
Pop into the oven for 45 -55 minutes. You can make these treats soft or crispy depending how long you keep them in the oven for? The longer they are kept in the oven at a lower cooking temp will take the moisture out make them crispier and last longer. But if you want soft treats bake them for less time but keep them in the fridge after, and they can also be frozen.
