ABOUT THIS RECIPE

This recipe is a treat, some healthy Holiday cheer for the pups.  Unfortunately ham is not very good for dogs as hams are cured and brined and contain far too much salt for a dog. So instead I’ve swapped it out with a slice of pork chop!

 

This recipe is designed to look like the actual plate from the Dr Suess book, and it would be plenty for a big dog, and I’d generally only give one egg in one day to a dog as egg yolks are quite high in fats.  Obviously if you have a small dog portion accordingly and remember to introduce new foods into a dogs diet slowly. 

 

Always remember to consult with your Vet if your dog has a chronic illness before letting them try new foods or making any changes to their diet.

○ COOKING TIME: 20 minutes
○ SERVING: Makes 1.5 Cups

INGREDIENTS

[2] Eggs
[1] Thin Cut Boneless Pork Chop
[½ cup] Frozen Spinach, cooked and pureed, water squeezed out
[1 tsp] Coconut Oil
[¼ tsp] Migos Dog Supplement Powder

 

 

PREPARATION

Cookie Dough:

Step 1.
Seperate the egg yolk from the whites

Step 2.
In a non-stick frying pan, add the coconut oil, and the thin pork chop slice, cook for 2 mins each side until cooked through, when it's nearly cooked you can turn the heat down and add the egg white to cook next to it. Take off the heat and leave to cool down.

Step 3.
In a small bowl, mix the egg yolks, MIGOS DOG Supplement Powder, and the pureed spinach together, add to a non-stick pan on low heat and gently cook.

Step 4.
Add the egg whites and pork chop to a plate. Then use your hands or a spoon and make a round ball of the green cooked egg yolk and spinach and put on top of the egg white.

Step 5. 
Make sure it's not too hot before serving, and also you can absolutely make this for yourself without the dog supplements and add some salt and pepper. It will be delicious!
